Arterial Catheterization is a short term, invasive technique intended for continuous blood pressure monitoring, assessment of cardiovascular effects of vasoactive drugs, and frequent arterial blood gas and laboratory sampling. The kit is typically comprised of a thin flexible intra-arterial catheter; spring wire guide, with a straight soft tip at both ends; and an introducer needle. Available in different configurations, diameters and sizes in order to provide customization to each patient and each insertion site.
